Who is guilty – Wife, Neighbor or his Parrot

Choo : Hi Chang, did you see the drama where the hero kills a man as that guy had an affair with his wife. He proves to the jury that he should be let off as it was unintentional and after release takes his wife abroad to live with him happily ever after. The drama was so nice and the hero was so large hearted and smart.

Chang : Choo, I think the wife was smart and not the hero. In fact, I feel the hero was just an emotional fool.

Choo : How can you say that? The drama is such a hit. People liked it.

Chang : Ok, let’s take an example.

Suppose you and your two neighbors visit a pet fair and each of you buys a parrot. You name yours as Tom while your neighbors name theirs as Dick and Harry respectively. Each one of you loves your parrot and takes good care of the pet. Shortly you get married and expect your wife (who is also a pet lover) to take care of your parrot. Over the period you notice that your parrot is not as active as earlier, but you are sure that your wife is taking good care of your parrot.

One day your parrot dies and during his cremation ceremony you come to know that your wife never cared about your parrot, in your absence, she kept spending time and playing with the neighbor’s parrot called Dick. She did not even feed Tom regularly. She only liked the parrot Dick.

So the question is who is responsible for the death of your Parrot Tom – Your wife or Your neighbor or his parrot Dick?

Choo : Of course the wife is guilty. She should have looked after Tom instead of fooling around with the neighbor’s parrot.

Chang : But if you had been the hero in the drama you would have killed the parrot Dick! Why couldn’t you see that foolishness in the drama? It was the wife who killed the trust of her husband. But the so called hero just killed one of her boyfriends. Going by that action every time his wife is caught sleeping around with friends or strangers, he will be considering them guilty not his wife who has actually fooled him and broken his trust. Such a person can’t be called hero, he is an example of gullible guy and he is not large hearted else he would also have forgiven the guy who slept with his wife; he is at the most an emotional fool. Still, if people like that drama, I will say we don’t deserve to be a democratic country.
