Men In India Are Sending Rakhi To Female Ministers

Some men in India are sending rakhi to female ministers of the government on the occasion of Rakshabandhan asking for protection.
Rakshabandhan signifies a sister tying a rakhi on a man’s wrist, asking him to protect her. The role of protector/ provider has burdened men such that the male gender sees participation 6 times more in child labour, twice the number of suicides than the female gender among many other things.

Equal rights come with equal responsibilities, so role of protector shouldn’t be imposed on men alone and they too need protection.
Highlighting this we have sent rakhi’s to female ministers demanding protection to men.
