Reporting inequality as equality is oppression

The world economic forum’s Global Gender Gap Report 2020 is biased against males.

In the section of the Index Methodology and Technical Notes you can read :- Hence, the index rewards countries that reach the point where outcomes for women equal those for men, but it neither rewards nor penalizes cases in which women are outperforming men in particular indicators in some countries. Thus, a country that has higher enrolment for girls rather than boys in secondary school will score equal to a country where boys’ and girls’ enrolment is the same.

Gender Equality rating system of Global Gender Gap Report 2020

What this essentially means the index will penalise a country’s rating if more number of males are getting educated than females, but it will not penalise a country’s rating even if more males are dying out of hunger, even if less males are getting an education or even if males were to be sent to ghettos. It seems like Hitler’s index of equality, where the genocide of Jews will not even be considered as inequality let alone a crime against humanity.

The Global Gender Gap Report 2020 rates countries on the following parameters. But the underlying rating system is tilted against men. I strongly object to such flawed metrics glossed over with the name of equality. In fact, any organisation that promotes such a practice should be dissolved to save human rights of the neglected group. As this does not incentivize the creation of equality. It incentivizes oppression.
